Gracie’s Backyard

In just three short seasons, a dynamic, regenerative enterprise has developed from what was an abandoned farm.

COMING SOON!

Gracie’s Backyard is an upcoming documentary film about the “northernmost commercial permaculture farm on the planet”. Located at 59 degrees North near Sunne, Sweden, Ridgedale Permaculture is a 10-hectare farm the integrates pastured eggs, broiler chickens, market gardens, agro-forestry systems (and more!) into a enterprise that creates livelihoods while regenerating landscapes.

Discover how Richard Perkins and his partner Yohanna Amselem managed to turn this abandoned farm into a vibrant place that is now part working farm, part education hub.

We can make more intelligent systems and we can reduce the workload, and we can definitely regenerate soil and make a profit doing that.”Richard Perkins
